ADD: Searching for Slovenian Speakers
2002 RECORDING STUDIOS LONDON is searching for Slovenian speakers (females and males/18 years old or more) who live in London for 6 months or more, having a clear diction and any accent pronounces of their native language. This is for a hearing for a voice over project which will be on going work at 2002 studios. The first audition is not paid. If you are selected, the project is paid 15 GBP per hour depending on the amount of work.

Family Gathering 2010 will take place between 6th and 12th July at lake Bohinj, Slovenia. The speaker in the morning sessions will be Stephen Haslem, a lively, humorous and enjoyable presenter with a very practical approach which is helpful in daily life. In the afternoons, there will be dancing and other activities (including a lunch and afternoon in nature), and after dinner there will be a variety of talks.
The cost of the hotel is expected to be about €40 per day half-board, and the programme to be less than €200. there are cheap Ryanair flights to Trieste and Klagenfurt, both of which are fairly near. If interested please contact Bernard Winchester at BAW30s@hotmail.com.
Tartini Sonatas for solo violin at St Bartholomew-the-Great, West Smithfield City of London EC1
Concerts by Peter Sheppard Skaerved presenting Taritini Sonatas for solo violin (Padua Manuscript) will take place on 19th May, 2nd June, 16th June, 21st September, 27th October, 24th November.
All concerts start at 7.30 pm.

2 additional lessons each day totalling to 18 lessons in 2 weeks
Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 3.30 pmWith regard to your level of knowledge of Slovene, you can select from among the following courses:
beginners' level: Conversation and Phonetics,
intermediate level: Conversation, Slovene Literature and Culture,
advanced level: Conversation, Slovene Literature and Culture, Preparation for the Exam of Slovene at the intermediate and advanced level.

The Summer Course entitled HELLO, THIS IS THE SLOVENE MEDITERRANEAN organized by the Faculty of Humanities Koper and the Science and Research Centre of Koper at the University of Primorska will be held in Koper from 19th July to 1st August 2010.
The course is intended for all who wish to learn Slovene language or improve their knowledge and get to know Slovenia and its culture in spending two pleasant summer weeks by the Slovene sea.The main aim of the Summer Course was achieved in the last fifteenth years. We combined the usefulness of learning Slovene and getting more familiar with Slovenia with the pleasures of spending two summer weeks by the sea.

2) International Choirs Meet in Sedbergh - June 11-13 - over a dozen choirs coming - including Pevke iz Brinjeve Gore and Oktet from Celje.
3) Pet Sto Metrov UK tour - July 21-31 - Slovenian rock band from Zrece in London, Leeds, Kendal, Sedbergh and Edinburgh.
4) English folk choir Werca's Folk tour Slovenia October 23-30 with concerts in Zrece, Ljubljana, Cerknica, Lukovica and Bled.
