Thanks to the British-Slovene Society's very happy and friendly relationship with the City of London Church of St Andrew by the Wardrobe, they will be holding for the ninth year running, their Anglo-Slovene Carol Service.

The Christmas Carol Service will take place on Friday, 4 December 2009 at 6.30 pm at the Church St Andrew by the Wardrobe, Queen Victoria Street and St. Andrew's Hill, City of London, EC4. (Please note that the nearest underground station BLACKFRIARS is closed for repairs. St Paul’s and Mansion House stations are not far away.)

The Service will follow the traditional popular form that is known in England at this time but will have readings and carols in English and Slovene.

Afterwards, there will be time for a Christmas drink (courtesy of the Embassy), and a piece of potica (courtesy of the Society and AS::BC).

This service in the English tradition is open to anyone so please feel free to bring any guests.
